Knowledge Of Use
- Do you honestly know the difference in, and how to use a Microfiber properly when it comes to the interior and exterior finishes? what about the specific blend of fibers within the Microfiber towel as well as the GSM. Do you know how important GSM is and what it stands for without looking it up? Do you think that as long as it’s a Microfiber and cheap, you can use it everywhere, and do the entire vehicle with just 2-4 of them? Do you turn the Microfiber towels when you use them to fully utilize the 8 sides that you have?
- Did you also know that a worn Microfiber can scratch your exterior in combination with pressing too hard if you’re not using it properly?
- How would you care for your Microfiber towels? Powder or liquid detergent, and why? What heat setting, and for how long on that setting, and why? Would you use fabric softener at all, why, or why not? What happens when you dry Microfiber towels on too high a temperature and leave them in that high heat for too long, do you know?
- Where on, and in our vehicle would you use these grades of Microfiber towels from left to right (pictured left), and why? High side of the Microfiber, or low side, and why?
Drying Process
Never, ever do what’s in this photo because you’ve just destroyed the already low-quality micro-fiber towels with the tags left on them to further scratch the exterior of your car; and yes, I watched this person set the dryer on high…. painful to watch! Also, Micro-fiber towels attract lint beyond description…the towels should’ve been dried separately!
How To Store
Notice that my Micro-Fiber towels are separated in the above containers? They are also washed separately with a “Specific” detergent, then physically inspected after washing to ensure that nothing was caught between the fibers, AND then dried separately within specific heat tolerances making sure that the lint screen is perfectly clean FYI.
